Ho
Chi Minh City University of Industry (HUI) is one of the biggest
technical and vocational education providers in Viet Nam. It has 5
campuses. Annually, HUI offers the multi-discipline, multi-professional
and multi-level training services to tens of thousands
of students nationwide. With its equally qualified teaching staff of
over 1,200 and hundreds of guest lectures, HUI is committed to enhance
the quality of its training services. The students are also offered
the supplementary foreign language and IT courses and many others in
terms of interaction, and industrial behavior helpful to them
in a
modern working environmemt. Thanks to its industry linkage, they get
opportunities to have internship at local business and
especially at foreign – invested factories where they are able to
observe the latest technical advances, practice labor skills, and
integrate into modern work places. The university also focuses on
professional training courses according to the requirements of the
industry or localities where the students can improve their
professional knowledge, practical labor skills, and operate the
modern machines at work.

HUI is
determined to construct a modern teaching and learning
environment, offering its students the achievement of
advanced education to train them as Bachelors or Engineers
who are talented, progressive and skillful.
HUI constantly
upgrades its capacity of providing academic education and
technical training courses to meet the needs of the industry
and community in Vietnam as well as to be one of the key universities in
the country where the latest technical advances, teaching
methodologies, and training services are applied.

student population of 50.000 who attend the training

INTERNATIONAL
RELATIONS AND
COOPERATION
HUI has built
long term cooperation with partners from Europe, North
American, Australia, and regional countries whose education
and training are well – established and developed on the
basis of high quality technologies. Annually, HUI offers the
international cooperative training programs at
university and college degree in the training areas of
information Technology, Business administration, Electrical
Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering,
Environmental Science and Garment and Fashion Design

TEACHING STAFF
HUI has teaching
Staff of over 1200 qualified and experienced lectures, all
of whom have BA or B.Sc degrees. Postgraduates at HUI account
for 60% of its teaching staff, of whom there are 12
professors and associate professors, 95 doctors and doctor students, 465 masters and
postgraduates. The guest lecturers at HUI are highly
qualities ones with high academic degrees and titles. |

FACILITIES
HUI facilities
include its canteen, dormitory, tradition house, gymnasium,
e-library, workshops, and classrooms, and lecture
theatres with international standards. There is a computer
network with intranet and internet commonly used by its
staff and students.
